James Cooper

Experienced in property law, James guides clients through a range of complex property transactions and disputes, providing pragmatic insights to protect and advance their interests.

James Cooper

James is a real estate lawyer who has been advising since 2016 on small, medium and large-scale property-related matters.

Throughout his career as a solicitor, James has worked with industry leaders, retailers, property developers, large commercial trusts, retirement village owners, Government departments and a range of small to large corporate entities to deliver tailored advice and assist with the documentation and structuring of property deals and transactions.

James’ specialties in the real estate sector include commercial leasing (acting for either landlord and tenant), property acquisitions and disposals, property development, a wide range of varied PEXA-based transactions and more recently, property-related disputes, ADR and, as a last resort, assisting with litigation.

He also has a wealth of experience advising on commercial matters, having assisted private entities, small-to-medium enterprises (SME) and start-ups on commercial transactions, delivering bespoke advice, negotiating a range of commercial contracts and providing general commercial and corporate advice for his clients.
